About the Artist Pat RankinPat Rankin is an American born artist. Much of his youth was spent drawing pictures for amusement and building monster models when not getting into mischief with his pals. The attention from his peers, as well as encouragement from his teachers led Rankin to receive classical training in Public Art at the Art Institute of Chicago, where he met museum display shop owned Richard Rush. Rush took Pat Rankin on as an apprentice, and after learning advanced professional skills over time, Rankin ventured off on his own at 22.When he began sculpting for statuary legends Jack and Leo Lucchessi, Rankin found a place to exercise his newfound talents and gained keen insight into the world of giftware figurines.
